CELEBRATES 28 YEARS ON APRIL 15-18, 2010
Denver, CO (December 20, 2009) – The Denver Antiques & Art Show and Sale announced today it will celebrate its 28th
anniversary show by welcoming the general public to its beautiful new venue, the spacious and luxurious state-of-the-art United
Club Level of INVESCO FIELD at Mile High Stadium in Denver. The beautiful designs and superb craftsmanship of the
thousands of museum quality antiques displayed during the three days of the Antiques Show reflect the 2010 theme of Simple
Considered the highest caliber Antiques Show in Colorado, renowned international and national dealers exhibit a vast array of
fine antiques appealing to both the connoisseur and the new collector. Visitors will discover exquisite examples of European
and American period furniture, fine vintage jewelry, Victorian majolica, American Indian and Western art, silver, antique maps
and prints, Oriental rugs, European bronze statuary, fine art and returning this year contemporary art. Our popular 3-day Antiques
Show and accompanying Special Events will excite and delight!
"Innovations for the 2010 Denver Antiques Show include our splendid new venue and our re-designed interactive web site which
seamlessly dovetail into the 28 year tradition of bringing prominent antique dealers and artists to the Show, creating a one of a
kind visual and buying experience in the region,” said Chairman Barbara Knight. "After chairing the show six times over the past
three decades, I am always impressed by the enduring appeal that antiques hold for us because of their reflection of history and
social customs through the centuries and their lasting economic value.”
The 2010 Denver Antiques & Art Show and Sale takes place April 16-18 at INVESCO FIELD at Mile High Stadium located at 1701
Bryant Street in Denver. Public Show hours are: Friday and Saturday from 11 am - 6 pm and Sunday 11 am - 5 pm. The 3-day
admission cost is $10 per person, available online, through the Central City Opera Box Office or at the door, or $9 at all King
Soopers stores. Light lunch and beverages are available for purchase each day. Parking is free in Lot C.

The Special Events of the 2010 Antiques Show open with a Preview Party on Thursday, April 15 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm at
INVESCO FIELD at Mile High – on the United Club Level. Guests will enjoy an elegant dinner buffet and open bar. The Preview
Party guests are always afforded the first look and buying opportunities in this wonderful social atmosphere. Tickets to the
Preview Party are $150 per person or $60 for persons age 35 and under (this includes the 3-day admission ticket).
On Friday, April 16 at 10:00 am the popular Lecture Luncheon will feature internationally-known interior designer, Alexa
Hampton. Acclaimed by both Architectural Digest and House Beautiful, as a “Top 100” Designer, and honored by the American
Antiques Show with the “American Spirit Award” for her interior designs of Trowbridge House in Washington, DC, Hampton
serves as the president and featured designer of Mark Hampton, LLC. Tickets are $85 per person (which includes the 3-day
admission ticket). RSVP early to this very special event - seating is limited.
Club Day at the Antiques Show is a new way to gather with your friends. On Saturday, April 17, 2010, arrive at 10:30 am to 12:00
noon for coffee, tea and sweet rolls. Stay all day for the programs and shopping. The $18 ticket includes the 3-day admission
Back by popular demand this year is the “Manager’s Spotlight”, don’t miss a special tour with Show Manager Gerry Nagel on
Saturday, April 17 at 11 am. This 50-minute walking tour of the Show floor focuses on several Show highlights. Dealers
demonstrate why certain pieces rise above others in quality and value, explain their original uses and describe how they were
made. This tour is FREE with your admission ticket.
On Saturday, April 17, 2010, from 6-8 pm, the inaugural Young Collectors Event takes off. The price is an affordable $35 in
advance or $40 at the door (this includes the 3-day admission ticket). This black and white themed cocktail party is an
opportunity for young and new collectors to view items at their leisure with specialized attention from the dealers and artists, with
pieces showcased especially for them.
On Sunday, April 18 the Lecture Brunch occurs offered at 10:00 am. Enjoy a champagne brunch while a leading national lecturer
will speak. Tickets for the lecture and brunch are $40 per person (which includes the 3-day admission ticket). Plan to RSVP early
